EOS are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join the Canberra-based finance team. This role is central to delivering accurate reporting, supporting audits, and driving process improvements across the business.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll play a key role in month-end close, reporting, and compliance, ensuring accurate financial results and supporting business decision-making. Working with global finance teams and auditors, you’ll maintain strong controls, deliver insights, and contribute to process improvements.

In this role, you will:

• Manage month-end journals, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Provide variance analysis and financial insights to leaders.
• Ensure compliance with ASX, IFRS, and Australian tax obligations.
• Support audits and maintain strong financial governance.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and best practice.
• Collaborate with international teams and mentor junior staff.

What you’ll bring:

• CA/CPA qualification and 3+ years’ financial accounting experience (ideally multinational or ASX-listed).
• Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, IFRS, and compliance requirements.
• Advanced Excel and ERP system skills, with exposure to group consolidation and intercompany accounting.
