We are seeking 2 experienced and compassion Program Assistants to join our dedicated team of 27 MND Advisors and Support Coordinators, working together to make a tangible difference in the lives of those impacted by MND.
The MND Advisor and Support Coordinator Program Assistant will work in conjunction with MND Advisor and Support Coordinators to provide the best possible care and support to those impacted by MND. These positions will expand our Program Assistant team to a total of three staff, enabling us to better support the increasing demand for services across Victoria.
In this role you work collaboratively with multiple MND Advisors and Support Coordinators to ensure team objectives are met, with a focus on administrative tasks that will support the provision of service to those impacted by Motor Neurone Disease including:
Research, identification and referral to a range of community supports and services available to address current or future needs of people impacted by MND
Administrative tasks that support clients to navigate health, disability, aged and palliative care systems
Other general administrative activities related to the work of the MND Advisor/Support Coordination team.
The successful applicants will have:
Demonstrated experience in and/or commitment to working with people living with a progressive degenerative neurological disease
Passion about providing person-centred and pro-active supports.
Highly developed interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
Demonstrated ability to manage competing work tasks and capacity to work towards achievable targets
Minimum Cert 4 qualification in health/welfare related discipline / or a relevant qualification in information studies, health, health promotion, community services, community development or business administration
This role can make a difference assisting people impacted by MND to navigate the service systems of health, disability, aged and palliative care while contributing to a strong team approach to excellent service provision.

Excellent salary range $ 87,828.26 $ 94,190.98 (plus super) and salary packaging available.
