NDIS Support Coordinator | Specialist Support Coordinator | Psychosocial Recovery Coach

We are seeking a support coordinator and/or psychosocial recovery coach to join our team in South Australia, providing quality services to participants funded by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). If you are looking for a contract position which includes genuinely flexible working hours and working from home, then this role might be for you! This role is a work from home position, however it does require travel to participant's homes and community locations in South Australia.

We are seeking a support coordinator to assist participants in the northern suburbs of Adelaide and the surrounding Adelaide metro areas. Ideally the applicant would also provide services to participants in Gawler, Adelaide Hills and Barossa Valley. If providing psychosocial recovery coaching services, this may extend to services in the Yorke Peninsula for the right applicant.

We are seeking applicants with experience, whether that be employment, having a lived experience of disability or being a family member/carer.

For successful applicants with support coordination experience and a relevant degree, the role may also include specialist support coordination. For applications with lived experience of poor mental health and a relevant mental health qualification, this role may also include psychosocial recovery coaching.

We welcome applications from support coordinators already working in the space that are impacted by the closure of their current places of employment.

About you:

To be successful in this role you will be an honest and highly organised worker with excellent communication, be details oriented and a whizz at report writing. As this is a contractor's role, you will be a self-starter, and able to problem solve and work independently with minimal supervision. This role is likely to suit someone already working in the sector wanting additional flexible work.

The successful applicant will provide services across metro Adelaide, with the option to outreach to country SA. You must be located in South Australia. Applicants based in regional or rural South Australia will also be considered.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, disabled people and people living with mental illness are encouraged to apply! As we work with people who often have challenges in communicating effectively, you will have English fluency, and any additional languages you speak will also be highly valued.

You will be a respectful and professional communicator. You will be affirming of LGBTIQA+ people, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and people of colour, and be willing to attend LGBTIQA+ inclusivity training as part of induction.
