About the Role

We're seeking a skilled and passionate horticulturalist to undertake a wide range of general gardening and horticultural services to help enhance our parks and leisure facilities and create vibrant public spaces. Responsibilities include:

• Operate a range of plant and equipment (e.g. tractors, mowers, sprayers)
• Perform landscaping, pruning, irrigation, and general garden maintenance
• Lead and supervise works crews and contractors
• Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in all tasks, implementing best practice
• Liaise with staff and the public to deliver excellent service
• Ensure compliance with legislation, Council policies and child safety protocols

About You

To be successful in the position, you will have:

• Trade Certificate Horticulture / Arboriculture or equivalent qualification
• NSW Class MR Driver's Licence or equivalent licence valid in NSW
• Current NSW General Construction induction card (white card) or accepted interstate alternative
• Current Working with Children Check
