About the position:

This position offers the opportunity to become part of our Procurement team. The team’s mandate is to source the best services, raw materials, components and consumables to meet our quality requirements, manufacturing schedules, and comply with legislative and corporate processes and procedures. You will work closely with multiple colleagues across the Office and Factory facility.

• To use SAP in a manufacturing environment.
• To use Procurement strategies and procedures to achieve assurance of supply, quality, service, cost, innovation and regulatory compliance.

About the person required:

• Qualifications relating to Business or Procurement; and experience in Procurement desirable.
• Background in office administration
• Manage purchasing processes, including obtaining and comparing supplier quotes and sourcing alternative suppliers when necessary.
• Perform administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and updating internal processes.
• Willing to learn new systems, be part of a team, enjoy multi-tasking.
• Strong verbal and written communication and numeracy skills.
• Have an aptitude for computing, including MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Attention to detail.
• Understand and adapt to change in a dynamic manufacturing and sales environment.
• Good interpersonal, planning, negotiation and customer service skills.
• Contribute to quality assurance tasks to uphold our high standards of service.
• A team player who collaborates effectively with colleagues to achieve collective goals.
• Organised and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
