Mount St Benedict College, is a girls high school established by the Sisters of Good Samaritan and is part of a community of ten schools across Australia administered by Good Samaritan Education. The Liturgy and Prayer Resource Teacher and classroom teacher possesses appropriate qualifications or a commensurate level of experience to deliver quality liturgical experiences for young people. They have the responsibility for developing and implementing liturgical and prayer experiences in keeping with the Seasons of the Catholic Liturgical Year and College events. The Liturgy and Prayer Resource teacher is a temporary project.
ESSENTIAL
• Be able to demonstrate an understanding of the charism of Good Samaritan Education as articulated in the Good Samaritan Schools Teaching and Learning Framework and the Good Samaritan Schools Mission Framework
• Have relevant teaching qualifications and appropriately qualified to teach RE
• High level organisational and ICT skills required
• Qualified in Liturgy or commensurate level of experience in delivering quality Liturgical experiences for young people
• Working With Children Check’ Clearance
DESIRABLE
•Current First Aid Certificate, including CPR
