We are seeking an experienced Commercial Credit Analyst to join their team in Sydney. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of their credit operations team. As a Commercial Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing and assessing the creditworthiness of commercial clients, playing a crucial part in their decision-making process.

What you'll be doing:

Analyse and prepare credit submissions on business loans, small to medium deals (SME)

Preparing comprehensive credit reports and recommendations for credit approvals or rejections

Monitoring the ongoing credit performance of existing commercial clients and identifying potential risks

Collaborating with the sales and relationship management teams to ensure a seamless credit evaluation process

Maintaining and updating credit policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Conducting Veda and ASIC checks

What we're looking for:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Credit Analyst assessing and approving business loan deals

Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and commercial lending

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present credit recommendations effectively

Thorough understanding of credit policies, regulations, and best practices within the industry

Must have a DLA of $250K and above from current and previous roles
