About the Role

WorkPac are seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the team in Gladstone. This position will support daily laboratory operations, performing both routine and research-based activities, while maintaining compliance with HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform laboratory activities including wet chemical titrations, reagent preparation, instrument setup and operation, and consumables checks

Assist research chemists with laboratory projects, ensuring accurate and reliable results

Maintain housekeeping standards, conduct HSE checks, and contribute to safe and efficient laboratory practices

Skills and Experience Required

Certificate in laboratory skills or equivalent qualification (experience in a Bayer laboratory highly regarded but not essential)

Strong HSE focus, self-motivated, and able to manage tasks independently

Experience using a range of laboratory instruments/equipment, with sound computer skills

Ability to adapt quickly to changing tasks, and perform light to moderate manual handling tasks
