About the company/role:
Our client, a global leader in the water, hygiene, and energy technology fields, is currently seeking a QC Technician to join their team on a full-timecasual basis. This position is set to commence immediately and continue until late January 2026, with the possibility of extension.

You must be available to work a rotating shift schedule, Monday to Thursday (4 x 10-hour days):

• Morning Shift: 4:00 AM – 2:00 PM (3 weeks)
• Afternoon Shift: 1:45 PM – 11:45 PM (1 week)

In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for conducting quality testing of manufactured chemical solutions using basic wet chemistry techniques and following established procedures.

Duties:

• Conduct sampling and analysis of raw materials, in-process, and finished products
• Perform wet chemistry techniques and operate basic instrumentation, such as HPLC and FTIR
• Prepare reagents and solutions for testing
• Review and interpret results against defined specifications
• Document and escalate any out-of-specification findings
• Maintain accurate QC records and reports
• Collaborate effectively within a team whilst also working independently

Skills/experience:

• Must have a current car and license (mandatory)
• A qualification in a scientific discipline or prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous
• Prior laboratory exprience
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A proactive, reliable, and self-motivated approach to work
