We are looking for an experienced Systems Architect to play a critical role in a major state government initiative, focused on transforming operational technology systems that directly impact the delivery of essential services across NSW.

Roles and responsibilities

Define and evolve system architecture to align with business goals, program objectives, and long-term strategy.

Lead the development and selection of scalable, future-focused solutions through concept design and trade-off analysis.

Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and delivery goals.

Engage stakeholders at all levels, translating complex designs into clear, actionable insights to drive collaboration and informed decision-making.

Your skills

Extensive experience as a Systems Architect on large-scale technology and/or cyber security programs.

Deep expertise in systems-of-systems architecture, backed by a strong engineering foundation.

Proven ability to manage complex interfaces and make strategic, evidence-based architecture trade-offs.

Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage both technical teams and senior stakeholders.
