About the role

Perfect Start Mary Street is seeking experienced Diploma Educators or those working towards their Diploma to join our dedicated team of early childhood professionals. This part-time role will be based in our centre in Birkdale, QLD 4159, and will involve providing high-quality care and educational experiences for children in our early childhood centre.

We are proud to run a fully immersed Forest school Program across our service and utilise our wonderful natural environment to develop children's learning.

What you'll be doing

Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences for children

Providing a nurturing, safe and inclusive environment for children

Observing and documenting children's learning and development

Building strong relationships with children, families and the wider community

Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and regulations

Participating in staff meetings, professional development and team initiatives

What we're looking for

A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent, or actively working towards this qualification

Demonstrated experience in a early childhood setting

Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and ability to implement its principles

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A genuine passion for supporting the development and wellbeing of children

Flexibility and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
