Nest Montessori Children’s House is seeking a part time (or full time - hours can be flexible) Diploma Qualified Educator!

The Role
The role requires an experienced Diploma level Educator (qualified or working towards) to work as an active team member in providing high quality education and care within a Montessori setting. This is a great opportunity for early childhood professionals who are passionate about early childhood education and wish to immerse themselves in an environment that is positive, and community orientated with likeminded team members. Experience in a Montessori setting is not essential as training can be provided, though it is very advantageous.

Our ideal candidate will be working with children aged 2.5-5 years and will be able to:

develop strong, meaningful partnerships with children, families and team members

interpret and apply relevant industry frameworks and legislation, including the NQS, EYLF, QKLG, and where possible, Montessori philosophy

demonstrate knowledge and practical experience in Montessori methodologies, with a solid understanding of contemporary educational approaches

demonstrate strategic thinking and effective collaboration with all stakeholders to uphold and communicate the philosophy of Nest Montessori

assist in the delivery of a program that reflects excellence, creativity, and deep care for each child in a prepared environment where order, inspiration, and high standards meet

About you:

Diploma qualified (or ACECQA equivalent) or actively working towards obtaining

Current Working with Children Check

First Aid and CPR Certificate

Understanding and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework, which includes: National Regulations, NQS and the EYLF

Experience or an interest in the Montessori philosophy or willingness to learn

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment

Strong understanding of the importance of family communications

Commitment to the holistic development of their class
