Relocating to our region:
Relocation incentives may be available to the successful applicant for this role, including relocation & accommodation support.
Relocation Support:
Intrastate (over 100kms) - up to $2,500
Interstate - up to $5,000
Overseas - up to $8,000

Recruitment bonus:
This role is eligible for an Allied Health recruitment bonus of up to $5,000. The bonus will be paid on completion of a successful six month probationary period and applies to new employees at GV Health only.
About the role:
Join a well-established, dynamic and supportive multidisciplinary team to work as an Occupational Therapist using your knowledge and skills to provide diverse Occupational Therapy services for older adults living in the community. The GV Health Ambulatory Aged Care Program (AACP) consists of 3 programs: Transition care program (TCP), Restorative Care Program (REST) and GEM in The Home (GITH).
These three services are aimed at restoring client’s health and wellbeing through a multidisciplinary approach, that is time limited and goal orientated.
Occupational Therapy (OT) services are client focused, efficient and effective and meet established standards of excellence. The OT team in AACP have a varied caseload including discharge home visits, functional assessment and rehabilitation, cognitive assessment and therapy, and minor home modifications (no major home modifications). The OTs work closely with AACP Team Assistants to provide regular OT interventions for all clients.
This is an ideal role for an experienced OT who enjoys working independently as part of a multidisciplinary, community-based team and who has excellent problem-solving skills
The successful applicant will have:
Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
Current Victorian Drivers Licence
Well-developed time management and critical thinking skills, the ability to prioritise tasks and work under minimal supervision.
Applicants should also possess excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively within a team environment.
A sound knowledge of computer-based software applications including Word/Excel/database management systems is also required.
