You will:

Provide both outpatient and inpatient support to palliative care clients.

Work closely with Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Dieticians, Oncology specialists, and Community Nursing teams.

Support patients and families in making informed decisions, including advanced care planning.

Ensure care is compassionate, culturally sensitive, and tailored to each individual’s needs.

Here, your work will have a visible and lasting impact – you won’t just be a nurse; you’ll be a trusted presence in your patients’ most important days.

Why Moree?

We know rural life isn’t for everyone, but for the right person, it offers something city life can’t:

A strong sense of community – where you’ll know your patients, your colleagues, and your neighbours.

A slower pace of life – without losing access to essentials, with daily flights to Sydney for quick getaways.

Room to breathe – more space, less traffic, and the opportunity to focus on what matters most.

Moree may not have the bustle of a metro hub, but it offers genuine connection, a more personal approach to care, and the chance to be part of a team where your contribution is noticed and valued every single day.

At Hunter New England Health enjoy a career where you're challenged by interesting work and surrounded by spectacular locations. Join the team enriching health in millions of ways every day:

Be rewarded with up to $10,000 in the first 12 months PLUS up to $10,000 each year thereafter in fortnightly payments under the Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.*

We’re Looking for Someone Who Is:

Passionate about patient-centred, end-of-life care.

Community-minded, with a strong commitment to equity and cultural safety.

Collaborative, yet confident working independently when needed.
