About the role

As the Fine Dining Venue Manager for the new flagship opening of The Lodge in the heart of Melbourne, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of this high-end restaurant. In this full-time role, you will ensure exceptional customer service, efficient team management, and the successful delivery of the company's strategic vision.

What you'll be doing

Manage all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and financial reporting

Lead, motivate and develop a team of service professionals to deliver a world-class dining experience

Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency

Liaise with the culinary team to coordinate menu offerings, special events, and promotional activities

Monitor customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations

Contribute to the overall strategic planning and growth of the restaurant

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience in two hatted dining venue management role

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff

Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities

In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, inventory management, and financial reporting

Familiarity with liquor licensing regulations and health and safety standards

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences
