CLARKE TYRE & AUTO PTY LTD are seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Technician to join our workshop staff on a full-time basis, maintaining and repairing a range of vehicles exacting standards.

Duties & responsibilities:

Diagnose, service and repair a wide variety of models including passenger cars and light commercial vehicles

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations and brake inspections

Carry out complex repairs and overhauls on mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems

Ensure all work is completed to the company's high standards of quality and safety

Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used

Proactively identify opportunities to improve workshop efficiency and productivity

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior mechanics

Experience & attributes:

Minimum of 2 years' Mechanical trade experience

Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology

Full Australian working rights and current residence

Detailed knowledge of vehicle systems, parts and components

Advanced understanding of motor maintenance and repair techniques

Ability to diagnose and resolve faults using advanced diagnostic equipment

Efficient time management and organisational skills to meet deadlines

Keen interpersonal skills with customers and a passion for providing exceptional service
