About the role

We are seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic Nursery Hands to join our team at Andreasens Green Wholesale Nurseries in Yatala, Queensland. This is a casual role working up until the end of November. As a Nursery Hand, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our wholesale nursery to deliver quality plants to our retail and landscape customers.

What you'll be doing

Detailing plants including pruning roots, weeding, attaching display labels and barcode stickers

General plant and nursery maintenance, such as weeding and cleaning

Other nursery duties such as truck loading and unloading

Adhering to all WHS processes and expectations

Contributing to the overall productivity and success of the nursery

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a nursery, horticulture, or gardening role (desirable, but not essential)

Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards

What we offer

We are offering 38hrs per week, Monday to Friday 6:30am-2:40pm. The pay rate is as per the Nursery Industry Award ($30.35/hr based on an adult, juniors will be paid as per the Award based on age).

We are halfway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast at the Yatala South exit. Candidates must have their own transport as public transport services are limited in the area.
