- 6 Weeks leave + 17.5% leave loading

The Community Housing Officer provides tenancy management support services and assists with the delivery of the Living Strong Program. The position works closely with community based and visiting employees from Territory Families, Housing & Communities and TDC’s Healthy Homes department to provide tenancy support services across Wadeye. The Living Strong program has been developed to provide additional support and develop knowledge and skills of tenants to successfully maintain a safe and healthy home and living environment.
About You:
- 1-2 years’ experience in similar role in a remote indigenous community
- Qualification/Certificate relevant to role (i.e. Cert IV Real estate, Diploma Property) highly desirable
- Qualifications/experience in the Tenancy sector or experience delivering programs remotely would be favourable
Essential Licences / Clearances
- National Police check
- NLC Work / Resident permits (with assistance)
- Current NT C Class drivers’ licence
- Current NT Ochre Card (working with children check) (or willingness to obtain)
- NT Construction Industry White Card (or equivalent)
