GTNT Group is looking for a motivated and organised Human Resources Officer to join our team in Darwin! In this role, you’ll support the internal employee experience by conducting internal recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and general HR activities and administration. You’ll be the go-to person for everyday HR enquiries and play a key role in maintaining our positive workplace culture.

How Your Week Looks
As the Human Resources Officer, you’ll be responsible for a wide range of internal HR tasks that support the employee lifecycle and smooth operation of our HR department. You will:
Assist with end to end internal recruitment including advertising, shortlisting, and coordinating interviews
Prepare employment contracts, letters of offer and other documentation
Support the onboarding and offboarding process, including inductions and exit processes
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity across HR systems
Respond to day to day employee queries and provide advice on policies and procedures
Support the implementation of HR initiatives, events, compliance processes, and Work Health and Safety
Provide administrative and reporting support to the HR Manager and wider team/organisation
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic about people and enjoys the operational side of HR.
You’ll bring:
Experience in a generalist HR role or similar support role
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A friendly, proactive approach and a willingness to support others
Confidence using the Microsoft Office suite
Work health and safety experience (desirable)
A good understanding of HR practices and employment legislation (desirable)
Qualifications in HR or Business (desirable)
To be eligible for the role you must be able to hold or obtain a National Police Check.
