The Role:

CPA are actively recruiting for both our community access and SIL services across the Northern Beaches!

In a DSP role at CPA, your role can involve any of the following:

• Supporting clients to develop and maintain independence, and advocate for the clients and their individual needs.
  
• Delivering personalized support by assisting clients at mealtimes, personal care, administrating medication, manual handling using a variety equipment and aids.
  
• Empowering clients to achieve their goals through activity based skill-development and community access
  
• Transporting clients in our wheelchair accessible vans and pool cars and community access.
  
• Monitoring the well-being of clients and reporting on their progress.
  
• Being part of a fun and dynamic team.

What we are looking for:

• Primarily, we are seeking experienced Disability Support professionals who have a track record supporting a range of clients, and are comfortable working around behaviours.
  
• We are also open to those newer to the industry who can demonstrate a level of maturity, resilience, and initiative.
  
• CPA has a strong commitment to following an approach of person-centered care - treating each client as an individual, and supporting their needs and goals on a holistic basis - physical, mental, and emotional.

Requirements:

• A current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum).
