Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am–5:00pm (rostered shifts)
We are currently seeking several Customer Service Officers (CSOs) to join a dynamic State Government Department. These roles are based in a busy contact centre environment and offer a chance to make a real impact in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality customer service via phone, email, social media, and front counter (after 6 months)
- Interpret legislation, policies, and procedures to assist clients
- Support offline duties including outbound calls and administrative tasks
- Participate in training, quality assurance, and community engagement activities
About You:
- Experience in call centres (inbound/outbound) preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interpret legislation and provide accurate advice
- Resilience and professionalism when dealing with challenging customers
