About the role

The Learning Cottage, a leading provider of early childhood education services in Lismore and Wollongbar, NSW, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Early Childhood Educators-Trainees to join our vibrant team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about nurturing the development and well-being of young children. This is a two-year commitment, and at the end, you will have your qualification as an educator

What you'll be doing

Providing high-quality care and educational experiences for children aged 0-5 years

Implementing engaging and age-appropriate learning activities that promote cognitive, physical, social and emotional development

Observing and documenting children's progress to inform individualised learning plans

Maintaining a safe and nurturing environment that adheres to all relevant regulations and standards

Collaborating with parents and caregivers to support children's holistic development

Participating in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

A passion for early childhood education and a genuine commitment to supporting the growth and well-being of young children

A willingness to undertake a relevant early childhood education and care qualification

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with children, families and team members

Enthusiasm for creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment

Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail

A current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
