Position Description
Reporting directly into the Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the Payroll function, and your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Processing end to end payroll for 400 employees
- Interpretation and application of relevant EBAs and awards
- Preparing and lodgment of payroll tax and superannuation
- Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
- Administration of employee onboarding including contracts and new hire paperwork
- Proving accurate information in response to employee queries
- Ensure all monthly and yearly payroll deadlines are met
- Complete varying HR duties to assist the People & Culture Manager
- Preparation of payroll related reports
Ideal Candidate
To be considered successful in the role, you will have previous proven extensive payroll experience, and possess the following attributes:
- The ability to work both autonomously & collaboratively with others
- Excellent time management & organisational skills
- Keen desire & willingness to grow, with a passion for payroll
- Possess high level attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Knowledge and ability to interpret relevant EBAs and awards
