A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a vibrant and growing Business Services team in a 5-director firm. In this role you will focus on both compliance and advisory.
You will manage your own client portfolio and look after a team of 3 accountants. This 40 staff firm services clients across various industries with offerings across Tax, Compliance, Wealth Advisory and Finance.

What you’ll be doing:

Working closely with businesses to provide strategic tax planning and savings

Minor review work (ITRs, activity statements) for junior accountants you delegate work to

Preparing financial statements, tax returns including SMSF compliance work

Managing own workflow, budgets, and deadlines for client engagements delegated from senior managers and partners

Suggesting new ideas and contributing to process improvements

What we’re looking for:

5+ years public practice experience

CA qualified

SMSF experience using Class Super is ideal

Sharp technical skills across compliance and advisory

Strong communication, problem-solving and client-management skills

Proficiency with Xero and cloud operating platforms
