- Ongoing, Clerk Grade 11/12 ($149,739 - $173,174) role based in Martin Place, Sydney (3 office days per week)
About the Role
As an Associate Director in the Commercial Transactions and Advisory team, you will lead high-impact commercial projects and strategic transactions across NSW Government. You'll work with internal teams, across government agencies, with the non-Government sector and external advisors to deliver investment, economic growth, and liveability outcomes. You will utilise your excellent strategic thinking and negotiation skills to facilitate diverse perspectives, manage complexity and influence others to understand new approaches and practices.
You will join our Commercial Transactions and Advisory branch in the Investment NSW group.

We're Looking For
- Commercial Leadership: Proven success delivering complex commercial projects in a public sector, or similarly complex, environment.
- Strategic Thinking & Analysis: Providing strategic advice with consideration given to risks, probity, precedents and analysis of information collected from a range of sources, including legal, financial and economic.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Navigating organisational processes including Ministerial engagement, combined with strong leadership skills and the ability to drive performance in a complex, politically and commercially sensitive environment.
- Project Delivery: Proven experience structuring and delivering large, complex commercial projects, including leading, planning, budgeting, monitoring, and managing internal teams and external consultants.
- Experience at a Senior or Executive level: Delivering specialist and authoritative advice to executive leadership and Ministers.
