About the role

Kyabram Cold Storage is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our team on a casual and permanent basis. This is an essential role in our warehouse operations, responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods within our distribution centre. The role is usually based in our Kyabram facility.

What you'll be doing

Operating forklifts to load, unload and move goods in a timely and safe manner

Maintaining equipment by performing routine inspections and basic maintenance

Identifying and reporting any equipment issues or hazards to ensure a safe work environment

Following all warehouse safety protocols and procedures

CoR: Familiarity with Chain of Responsibility requirements

Assisting with other warehouse duties as required

Using our Warehouse Management System (WMS)

What we're looking for

Current forklift license (essential)

Minimum 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehousing or distribution environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Good communication and problem-solving skills

Supervisory experience is beneficial
