The Role

The purpose of the Technical Services Engineer is to ensure the operational effectiveness of our client’s IT systems and services by serving as a business-facing contact for all technical matters. This role provides second-level support across the entire business and takes ownership of service delivery and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

· Support hardware and software lifecycle activities, including procurement, deployment, upgrades, and decommissioning, including laptop, docking station and other office IT equipment.

· Provide hands-on support for workplace technologies, including laptops, desktops, and Microsoft Office products

· Maintain asset records and ensure compliance with lifecycle policies.

· Collaborate with facilities and vendors to maintain technology standards across

Skills

· 2-4 years Desktop/Laptop Support Experience

· ITIL Service Management Framework, familiar with Incident, Problem and Change processes

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office application software and Windows operating systems

· Experience with Office 365 Administration

· Working knowledge of MS Teams for Business and conference services

· Experience with meeting room AV products like Crestron, Polycom

· Active Directory user and group management

· Azure environment

· Desktop monthly patching planning and processes
