About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Child Youth and Family Intervention Teacher to join our Human Services and Education team. In this role, you will deliver engaging and industry-relevant education that supports students in achieving their learning and career goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver training and assessment aligned with VET and curriculum requirements
  • Support student engagement, attendance and outcomes
  • Maintain teaching and compliance documentation
  • Participate in industry consultation and curriculum development
  • Provide pastoral and academic support to students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices and student outcomes
  • Engage with industry and community stakeholders to ensure course relevance

Skills and Experience Required
  • Relevant vocational qualifications and current industry skills in Child, Youth and Family Intervention
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
  • VET teaching experience, preferably in community services or youth work
  • Understanding of ASQA/VET compliance requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to design inclusive and flexible learning experiences
  • Proficiency in using ICT for teaching and reporting

Additional Requirements

Successful candidate will be required to provide:

  • A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • A National Police Check
