Cabinet Maker / Workshop All-Rounder
Full-time role – Marrickville, Sydney

So Watt is a design studio and workshop in Marrickville making custom furniture, joinery, IKEA Hacks, and homewares. We’re seeing a big increase in orders and are looking for an experienced cabinet maker to join our team and step straight into production.

This is not a trainee role – you’ll need to be confident working across the full range of cabinet making tools and machinery, and ready to contribute immediately.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll be hands-on across all areas of our workshop, including:

Checking and prepping CNC-cut panels (sanding, drilling, lamello, mitre saw, edgebanding, repairs).

Assembling furniture, joinery, pegboards, and IKEA Hacks to a high standard.

Supporting our finishing team by masking and de-nibbing where needed.

Assisting with QC, packaging, dispatch, and deliveries.

Helping with installs and on-site work.

Maintaining your own workstation, tools, and keeping on top of inventory.

Who we’re looking for

Fully experienced cabinet maker (minimum 3+ years on the tools).

Confident with all standard workshop equipment and processes.

Able to work independently, problem-solve, and keep jobs moving without constant oversight.

Organised and reliable, with a strong eye for detail and quality.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects on the go.

Forklift licence and manual driver’s licence a bonus.
