About the role

We are seeking a talented Baker/Production Hand to join our skilled team at Vesuvio Pasta in Malaga, WA 6090. As a casual employee, you will play a crucial role in the production and quality of our artisanal pasta products. A great opportunity for experienced bakers looking to move away from night shifts and enjoy a stable Monday–Friday daytime schedule. While starting as a casual role, this position provides the opportunity to progress into full-time employment for the right candidate.

What you'll be doing

Assist with rolling pasta dough with a laminator

Assist with mixing dough for pasta

Ensure high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the production area

Monitor the quality of ingredients and final products, making adjustments as needed

Collaborate with the production team to meet daily output targets

Maintain accurate production records and logs

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a baker, production hand or similar role in the Bakers & Pastry Chefs industry

Proficient in the use of a laminator and able to follow recipes accurately

Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and quality standards

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Good communication and problem-solving skills
