Description

• Prepare and manage financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Oversee budgeting processes and provide financial forecasts to support decision-making.
• Conduct regular reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Ensure compliance with taxation requirements, including BAS and GST reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and analysis.
• Support audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
• Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures to optimise efficiency.
• Handle ad hoc financial projects and reporting as directed by management.

Profile

A successful Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or CA qualified (or working towards)
• Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
