About the Role

As our Events Coordinator, you’ll be part of the Operations Team, working across the organisation to deliver an exciting calendar of workshops, networking events, speaker sessions, and partner activities. You’ll collaborate closely with our Growth, Marketing, and Collaborative Innovation teams to ensure events run seamlessly and align with CBRIN’s broader goals.

This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong stakeholder communication, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Out-of-hours work will be required to support events.

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone who is:

Experienced in event coordination, support, or a related role.

Highly organised with excellent project management skills.

A strong communicator with a professional, customer-focused approach.

Confident working in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities.

Familiar with tools like Eventbrite, Canva, Slack, Microsoft Office, or CRM platforms (desirable).

Key Responsibilities

Work within the teams to plan and coordinate CBRIN events.

Deliver seamless experiences — from planning and logistics to post-event reporting.

Coordinate registrations, suppliers, venues, run sheets, and event communications.

Build positive relationships with partners, suppliers, and community stakeholders.

Support CBRIN’s broader programs and initiatives.

Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.

The extras you need to know

Out-of-hours business work will be required occasionally to attend/deliver events (1 – 2 times per month, this may include networking events after 5:00pm or breakfast events starting before 8:00am.

Interstate travel may be required at times.

Candidate must meet the requirements for an Australian government baseline security clearance.

This is a 2-year contract with an opportunity for extension.
