Multi-Skilled Civil Plant Operators / Labourers

Operators are needed for, but not limited to, road construction, subdivision, and general civil constriction work. These roles present outstanding opportunities to gain experience in your civil career, with potential for long-term full-time work for candidates who excel!

Spry Civil Construction is a family owned and operated company with ambitious targets for growing the business, whilst maintaining a healthy work culture and continuing our strong community rapport. We are looking for Multi-Skilled Civil Plant Operators for immediate starts, based in Murray Bridge SA.

We have opportunities for skilled operators with recent and extensive experience in large civil earthworks projects, operating any of the following:

Excavator with GPS experience (Trimble/Topcon systems)

Minimum 12 months experience with Trimble/Topcon GPS systems in earthworks applications

Dozer

Compactor

Grader

Loader

Dump Truck

Roller

Water Cart

To be successful in this role you must possess the following skills, attributes, and qualifications:

Current VOC/Certificate of Competency for at least three of the listed machines (additional certifications advantageous)

White Card (classroom, not online)

Minimum 2 years experience operating at least three of the listed machinery types

Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team

Reliable and honest

Great work ethic

Hold a current driver's licence

Daily operations of machines on-site in a safe and effective manner as directed by Site Supervisors.

Physical capability to climb in/out of machinery and work in various weather conditions

A positive approach and willingness to take initiative

Candidates must reside within the Murraylands region OR be able to commute to the main depot at Murray Bridge

Must have Full Australian working rights
