We are seeking a Customer Service Officer to play a vital role within our Communications Centre. This role is at the heart of supporting frontline operations. You will be the first point of contact for calls, manage information systems and support managers with reports and briefings.

Key responsibilities include:

Acting as the initial contact point for calls and enquiries, escalating when required.

Entering, monitoring, and maintaining accurate data in the CAD system.

Assisting Duty Managers with staff recalls, special event planning, and resource allocation.

Supporting report preparation, financial reconciliations, and mail/document handling.

Training and supporting new administrative team members.

About You

To be successful, you will bring:

Significant experience providing customer service and administration

Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and confidentiality.

The ability to stay calm under pressure and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and nights.

Experience with CAD systems or within emergency services is desirable.

**Includes weekends, public holidays and potential night shifts. Shifts vary in start time from 630am - 3pm. The hours average out to around 28 hours a week.**
