The Opportunity
We are seeking a House Manager to lead 2 homes based in the Sunshine Coast Region. Regular travel between these homes will be a requirement of this role. Onboarding and induction of up to 2 weeks is to be completed in person at our head office in Mooloolaba.
Key Requirement: Fortnightly Friday team meetings required at our Mooloolaba and Caboolture offices.
This role is ideal for someone with previous House Management or Case Management experience who thrives in a leadership position. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing a team of support workers, and ensuring high-quality care for the individuals we support.
What You'll Do
Team Leadership & Management:
Lead and inspire a team of approximately 30 support staff, fostering a positive, professional, and high-performing culture.
Promote trauma-informed support, evidence-based practices, and reflective professional dialogue.
Mentor, develop, and support team members to deliver high-quality care.
Identify and mitigate potential risks and hazards within the home environment.
Case Management & Client Support:
Provide comprehensive assessment and individualised case management to support participants and young people in our care.
Develop and implement case plans that address individual needs, goals, and challenges.
Conduct ongoing risk and needs assessments to ensure the best outcomes for each individual.
Write Positive Behaviour Support Plans and incident reports in line with industry standards.
Foster self-determination and active participation among individuals receiving support.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential Experience & Qualifications
✔ Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Community Services, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field desirable (Diploma accepted with substantial experience).
✔ Proven experience in team leadership and management in the disability, child protection, or social services sector.
✔ Strong background in case management with experience in planning, intervention, and risk assessment.
✔ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to excellence.
✔ Understanding of Child Safety Standards, Disability Services Standards, relevant legislation and maintaining compliance.
✔ Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
Compliance & Other Requirements
✅ Australian working rights.
✅ Current QLD driver’s licence (reasonable adjustments will be made for stable medical conditions which allow the inherent requirements of the role to be performed safely).
✅ Hold or have the ability to obtain an LCS check, Blue Card, and Yellow Card.
