Reports To: Store Manager
Position Type: Full-Time, 38 hours per week.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Assistant Store Manager to assist in the smooth operation of our telecommunications retail store. In this role, you will support the Store Manager in ensuring operational compliance, driving sales, and maintaining high standards of customer service and employee performance. Your leadership will be crucial in achieving sales targets and KPIs, as well as fostering a productive and positive store atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Support:
- Assist the Store Manager with daily store operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Help maintain store cleanliness, proper stock levels, and overall presentation.
Sales and Customer Service:
- Actively contribute to achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Support and motivate the sales staff to enhance their performance.
- Provide hands-on assistance and expert advice to customers on product selection.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve escalated issues promptly.
Team Development:
- Assist in training, mentoring, and developing retail associates.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages team collaboration.
Promotional and Marketing Activities:
- Support the execution of in-store promotions and marketing initiatives.
- Ensure proper merchandising and product presentation to maximize sales potential.
Inventory Management:
- Assist with inventory control, including stock counts and replenishment.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and minimize stock discrepancies.
Qualifications:
- Previous retail experience, preferably in telecommunications or a related field.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in using retail management software and systems.
