They are a pure fee for service business with their own license. Their business has a small number of clients that are provided with a high level of service, and the advice is very complex and product agnostic.

In this role you will work closely with 3 Senior Financial Planners, helping them manage their clients by attending client appointments and writing all SOA's and ROAs. No client meetings take place in this business without a Paraplanner/Associate being present. The Paraplanners are actively encouraged to participate in the client meetings and help present the SOAs they have written.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include;

Participating in client meetings with the Senior Financial Planner, or a Partner to assist with presenting SOAs and manage client relationships

Taking file notes and uploading information on to Xplan

Assist in strategy development & preparation of strategy and advice documents (SOA's and ROA's)

Ensuring high compliance standards are maintained

Manage the client file form start to finish, including overseeing the implementation of the advice you have written. A CSO actually lodges applications, but you need to oversee.

Working closely within the larger team including admin staff

About You

Ideally you will have;

12 months + experience as a Paraplanner or Associate Advisor

Reputation for providing exceptional client service

Understanding of technical concepts

High level of attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to prioritise and manage requirements

Relevant Qualification

Xplan experience is essential

The turnover in this business is extremely low, so this opportunity is a rare one. Its ideally suited to a paraplanner who wants more variety in their role and would like to have more involvement in client appointments. The volume of SOAs is low, but the quality is high.
