As a Graduate Risk Officer, you will rotate across four high-impact teams: Enterprise Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, Business Continuity & Resilience and Complaints & Information Access. You will gain real-world experience in some of the most unique and critical functions in local government, think crisis management, administrative complaints, right to information and enterprise-wide risks.
This is a people-focused, purpose-driven role. You will bring your fresh thinking and insights from university to support our high-performing team, while we back you with mentorship, development and exposure to career pathways you might not even know exist yet. Who can apply?
To be considered for this opportunity you must hold a recognised bachelor's degree or post graduate qualification from a tertiary institution, completed within the last two years or be completing prior to the commencement of the program in February 2026. Applicants must have full working rights in Australia for the duration of the program and be able to work full-time.
The Graduate Risk Officer welcomes graduates who have studied Bachelor of Business (majoring in Risk Management, Governance or Management), Public Administration, Emergency Management, Criminology or Justice; and legal related fields.
