About your role
As a Clinical Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit, you will provide advanced clinical expertise and leadership in managing complex critical care patients. You'll practice autonomously while coordinating care, supervising nursing staff, and contributing to education, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert, safe, and compassionate care in a Level 4 ICU/HDU setting.
- Lead clinical decision-making and provide supervision and support to nursing staff.
- Coordinate patient care planning and evaluation in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Actively participate in clinical education, facilitation, and mentoring programs.
- Engage in research, clinical audits, and quality initiatives to improve ICU practice.
About you
We are looking for highly skilled and confident Registered Nurses who thrive in an ICU environment and demonstrate strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Postgraduate qualification or enrollment in a critical care-related program (highly desirable).
- Proven advanced clinical skills and problem-solving abilities in intensive care nursing.
- Strong knowledge of ICU clinical practice, patient assessment, and complex care planning.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and participate in an on-call roster.
