The Role:

You will be responsible for a portfolio of SMSF clients which will include reviewing the annual accounts, dealing with the adviser/accountant, and working with the auditor to ultimately lodge the Annual Return.

About You:

You must have previously worked in a SMSF accountant role or SMSF manager role with a minimum of at least 3 years’ experience.

Being a SMSF Association Specialist is required, or you must be able to obtain this qualification within 6 months of joining First Class Super (FCS).

Formal accounting qualifications (CPA/CA/IPA) are not required, but they are favourably considered. Additionally, we would provide a supportive pathway for those wanting to obtain formal accounting qualifications.

A good knowledge of Class Super is required.

The role is 100% remote so you will need to be very self-motivated and have a dedicated office space in your home where you can setup your workstation.

Highly developed interpersonal skills are essential as this will be a client facing role.

Strong computer skills are a must and any expertise with Excel would be considered favourably.
