Reporting to the Exploration Manager you will be responsible for assisting the Geologist with ongoing field programmes and various duties around the mine site.

Key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

Physically demanding work in remote location and potentially hot and humid conditions

Soil Sampling

Rock sampling and mapping with geologists

RC sampling and diamond core processing

Drill rig supervision and management

Timely and accurate data collection and entry

Assist and support Geologists with other site activities as required.

About you:

At least 5 + years exploration field assistant experience (essential)

A "self starter" that is always looking for ways to do things better

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work in remote locations

Current drivers license

4WD ticket (desirable).

·Senior First Aid (desirable)

The role is a 14/14 FIFO position from Brisbane Townsville or Cairns or DIDO from Mt Isa or Cloncurry only, with meals and accommodation provided at the site camp.
