ABOUT THE POSITION.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer ready to step into a leadership role in Sydney’s vibrant engineering landscape. As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you’ll play a central role in leading project delivery, mentoring junior staff, and collaborating across disciplines. You’ll be joining a consultancy that values initiative and innovation where your input directly shapes project outcomes.
DUTIES.
- Lead the design and development of electrical systems and components for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Take ownership of projects from conception to completion, managing timelines, resources, and budgets effectively
- Provide technical expertise in electrical engineering, troubleshooting, and problem-solving. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to incorporate innovative solutions into our projects
- Work closely with other engineering disciplines, architects, and stakeholders to integrate electrical systems seamlessly within the overall project scope
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to guarantee the reliability and performance of electrical systems. Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure compliance with specifications
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in Building Services Electrical Engineering, with a focus on design, development, and project management.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
