About the Role
The ERA is looking for a motivated professional to join us on a full time or part time permanent basis as a Senior Advisor of Strategy and Stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading strategic planning and governance initiatives, supporting organisational change, and managing stakeholder engagement activities for the ERA.
The position coordinates the development of the strategic plan, prepares high-quality submissions, briefings and presentations for the Executive and Governing Body, and monitors the implementation of the strategic plan.
The position also coordinates aspects of the ERA’s governance framework, including maintaining various organisational policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and support a culture of excellence.
Working collaboratively across teams, this position ensures integrated approaches to organisational change initiatives.
Additionally, the position prepares speeches for the Chair and CEO, offering expert advice on stakeholder engagement, and producing high-quality internal and external communications. The role also plays a key part in improving engagement with utility service consumers and represents the ERA at external forums.
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans and reporting frameworks. They will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to influence and collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively within a small team are essential for success in this role.

Additional Information
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be appointed to other similar vacancies that occur throughout the ERA for twelve months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
