We are currently seeking

Full-time 1st year Baker/Pastry Cook Apprentice

or

Part-time Kitchen Hand/Cafe All Rounder - approx 16 hours, 6am starts

Apprenticeship Description

Embark on an enriching career path with a comprehensive full-time 3 year Baker/Pastry Cook certificate III apprenticeship

You will be working alongside the head pastry chef, under taking tasks that include weighing and preparing ingredients and mixes for Pastries, cakes and bread.

Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the bakery

Providing delightful customer service when required

To be considered for this position you will need to:

Have a passion for baking

Be willing to enter into an apprenticeship

Have a positive attitude, love working in a team environment and learning new skills

Kitchen Hand/Cafe Allrounder

Duties include

Sandwich Making / Food Prep

Taking orders and payments via POS system

Attending to customer needs as required

Keeping the kitchen and service areas neat & clean

The successful candidate must have:

Barista skills

Attention to detail with a can do attitude

Excellent customer service skills

Able to work confidently during busy times
