About the Role

We are a family-owned manufacturing business in Bayswater seeking a skilled and motivated Labourer/Welder to join our team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on high-quality, custom and decorative metal fencing and gates and gate automation. You will play a role in both workshop fabrication and on-site installation, where precision and attention to detail are essential.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, strong organisational skills, and a willingness to support multiple aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Complete pick-ups & deliveries to site and suppliers (manual licence essential!)

Track jobs through production stages using both paperwork and computerised systems

Maintain workshop organisation and general housekeeping

Fabricate, weld, and assemble custom fencing and gates using galvanised steel and aluminium

Assist with installation of fencing and gate systems on-site, ensuring quality of work and finish

Assist other team members

Collaborate with management to improve workflows and efficiency

Areas of Work

Decorative wrought iron fencing and gates

Custom pool fencing and balustrades

Custom aluminium & steel fencing

Sliding and swinging gates

Automated gate systems

What We’re Looking For

Confident driving a manual vehicle (must-have)

Naturally organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once

MIG welding skills

Able to read and work from technical drawings and specs

Great attention to detail with a focus on quality

Self-motivated, but also a strong team player

Flexible and happy to jump between fabrication, installation, and other tasks as needed

White Card, full manual driver’s licence, and forklift licence (required)
