About the role

Isamaezing Care Services is seeking a Casual Disability & Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in Lake Haven, NSW. In this flexible casual role, you will provide personalised support to clients with a range of disabilities and mental health needs, helping them to live independently and participate actively in their local community.

What you'll be doing

Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks

Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in meaningful social and recreational activities

Advocate for client needs and liaise with families, healthcare providers, and other support services

Implement and monitor individual support plans, documenting progress and adjusting care as required

Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment, sharing knowledge and best practices

What we're looking for

Certificate III or IV in Disability, Mental Health, or a related field

Demonstrated experience providing person-centred care and support to individuals with disabilities and/or mental health conditions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse clients

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work independently

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Shift times could include split/broken shifts.

Requiring staff with availability for shifts in the ranges of 6am- 12pm and 2pm-10pm. (shift times may vary)

Current first aid certificate and driver's licence
