ABOUT THE COMPANY

Rowe Scientific PTY LTD is a 100% Australian owned, expanding national organization, servicing the scientific community since 1987.

A secure full-time role is now available in our manufacturing department in Wangara.

We blend chemicals to manufacture aqueous solutions and repack chemicals from our many suppliers.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will bring a broad understanding of hazardous materials and the hazards associated with their handling. A qualification in the area of chemistry would be a distinct advantage.

Key duties

Supervise daily factory operations and ensure smooth workflow across the floor

Provide guidance and support to manufacturing staff

Monitor quality control, follow written procedures, and maintain safety standards

Troubleshoot mechanical issues and support equipment maintenance

What We're Looking For:

Previous supervisory or team leader experience

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to utilise a computer and the Microsoft suite

Reliable, proactive, and safety-conscious attitude

This is a hands-on role that requires you to lead by example.

REQUIREMENTS

A qualification in chemistry, either certificate, diploma or degree, or a minimum of 5 years of experience in handling hazardous chemicals.

Ability to work in a physically active role.

A current forklift ticket is highly regarded.
