About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Controller with a strong scheduling background to join our client’s team in Perth CBD. This role will see you working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to governance standards. You’ll be instrumental in driving accurate scheduling, portfolio reporting, and financial oversight for major infrastructure works.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules with cost, resource, and baseline data

Monitor project progress and produce accurate cost forecasts

Prepare and deliver portfolio reports using Project Online, AFO, and Power BI

Ensure compliance with governance requirements, documentation, and processes

Support budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and contract administration

Provide leadership on project processes and promote company values

Build strong working relationships with stakeholders and project teams

Respond to technical queries in a timely manner and resolve issues proactively

Skills and Experience Required

Proven experience in project scheduling and coordination

Strong financial acumen with portfolio tracking and reporting experience

Proficiency in MS Project, Project Online, AFO, and Power BI

Knowledge of project governance and compliance processes

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

Prior experience in infrastructure or utilities projects highly regarded
