About the Client

About the Role
WorkPac are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to join the Rail Network Renewals team based at the 2 Mile site in Karratha/Dampier. This is a FIFO position (residential considered) on a 5/2–4/3 roster, working 10-hour days. The role is offered as a 12-month duration.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage maintenance plans, schedules, and work packages for rolling stock assets, ensuring availability of materials and equipment.
Coordinate with execution teams, contractors, and suppliers to deliver planned maintenance and projects in line with safety and legislative requirements.
Identify and implement process improvements to optimise planning efficiency and execution outcomes.
Skills and Experience Required
Demonstrated safety focus with proactive problem-solving skills (5-Whys, RCA, Basic Investigation Tool).
Previous experience in maintenance planning (rail preferred, or mobile/fixed plant maintenance).
Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of SAP work management processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent communication, and strong stakeholder engagement skills.
Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
WA Manual C Class Driver’s Licence.
