About the role:
The Marketing and Communications Coordinator supports the promotion and engagement activities of Leadership WA. The role includes creating, curating, writing, storytelling, promoting, posting, photographing, designing and engaging with our community, to share and grow awareness of our Purpose, Programs and position as the State’s premier leadership development organisation.

About you:
Curious, empathetic and genuine, you’ll have a sense of fun and be inspired by contributing to meaningful work as part of our small and dedicated team. You have 3+ years’ experience in Mar-Comm roles and a love of writing, being creative and keeping content fresh. You’ll enjoy meeting people and being in an interactive role.

Your skills and experience:
Attention to detail! You’ll have an eagle eye for accuracy, strong English skills and excellent proofing and editing ability, and able to critique own work.
Flair for writing. You are a competent writer, able to draft timely and accurate communications tailored to the message, audience and channel.
Knowledge of digital marketing. The ability to create, craft and share engaging content (written and visual) across platforms and channels, while keeping an eye on the metrics that can guide you in maintaining and growing engagement.
Design and Creativity. You have great visual and spatial awareness when designing, reviewing designs or taking photos, with an eye for creating collateral and assets or selecting photos with visual impact and aligned with purpose.
Brand Guardian. You know the importance of applying the brand (including VI, style, tone and voice) and in ensuring/advising internal and external stakeholders on correct use.
Technology multi-tasker. You have experience in (or the ability to learn) key apps, programs and platforms, such as CRMs (Salesforce); CMSs (Wordpress), design (Canva and ideally InDesign), e-comms (Mailchimp) and office systems (Microsoft). You know your way around social media apps and their functions.

Key Information:
The role is full-time - 0.8 FTE will be considered for the right applicant
Annual salary: $80,000 - $90,000 + super, subject to skills and experience
